I am going on Monday to MEPS and for my physical. I am wanting to join the reserves and have the MOS of being a Warehouse Clerk (3051). I know that I am going to more than likely be deployed at some time during the six years that I enlist for and I want to know if I will get a chance to see combat at all with this MOS or will I be stuck in a warehouse the majority of the time that I am deployed. I'm choosing this MOS if possible because it will benefit me the most in my civilian job but I want to have a chance to see combat if I can. What are my chances of this happening with this MOS?

dude, if you want to see combat sign up to be a grunt, if you want to **** with supply **** be a clerk its pretty simple. Combats never guarenteed, im an 0311 and i didnt really do too much in iraq last year, i've heard of pogs on convoys getting ambushed and getting in the **** pretty bad, but if you WANT combat pick a combat mos (tanks, motor t, infantry, eod)

Dont waste your time with this, he's already gotten answers and he's started 2 other duplicate threads on this same exact subject.

I think he wants a guarantee that he'll never see combat.
