What is a flight physical..? I was wanting to go with an AG contract but my recruiter told me that you had to take a flight physical. When I asked him what that was.. He had no idea lol. So if someone can give me some insight on what it is and what you do that would be great. Thanks!

I have the AG contract field. It specifically says a RIGOROUS flight physical, so, whatever the hell it is, get yourself tuned-up for any kind of battery. They wouldn't just throw such a word in there if they didn't really mean it. It sounds like a way-more-in-depth version of what they do at MEPS but without half-blind doctors conducting the tests.

I know for Officer aviation contracts they send you down to Pensacola FL for it. Basically it's a more intense MEPS physical to make sure your body can handle flying.

I'm not really sure if the enlisted physical is as intense as the officer physical since they don't have to worry about you doing 9 g's in a F/A-18.
