Questions about MCT/Public Affairs School at Ft. Meade, MD

Hello Marines,

I'm shipping out to MCRD SD in about 2 weeks, and I was wondering what happens from there.

What's MCT like? Is it just as bad as boot camp?

And if anyone has any info on Public Affairs school at Ft. Meade, Maryland, it would be greatly appreciated. Is it likely I'll be able to travel back to California for Christmas or Thanksgiving? Will school also be as bad as boot camp?

In about 2 weeks, The weather at SD is going to be great and someone will anxiously and happily wait for you at the airport when you arrived, and they give you a first class bus ride to MCRD. And lets us know too what happens from there after 12 weeks.

For MCT, it depends. 52 area is probably still the same since last time I was there. That big mountain or "mount mfkr" still looked and smiled at me the same way eventhough after 15 years. It is going to smile at you the same way too and it will wait for you after bootcamp if you make it through. Lets us know what happens from there too.
