Wannabe here...are there any M1a1 crewmen here who can tell me a bit about the Armor Crewman Course? I know it's supposed to be around 10-12 weeks long but how does it compare to schools like SOI? What kind of restrictions/freedoms are granted as compared to boot camp?
Also, in the fleet, what kind of duties/exercises do you do? I know this has been asked before, but when I looked at the threads they were rather sparse. I'm talking to a recruiter soon but I'd like to know a little more in order to discuss things with family/girlfriend and so on. Thanks =)
