View Full Version : Volunteer Deployment? Reserve vs. Active
This is probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway as I don't know how it works in the USMC when it comes to deployments. After boot and SOI, can you volunteer to deploy somewhere, such as Iraq or Afghanistan?
Also, what are the different hurdles one would face if they were active versus reserves? Thanks in advance and I hope I did everything right with my profile.

It's not a stupid question and I'm sure your profile is fine and dandy.

they either send $hit hot Marines on deployments or $hit bags,, no middle of the road Marines,,,
