What’s the best way to fight a pirate?
From the sky.
And that’s just what some Marines from the Second Battalion Sixth Marine Regiment attached to the 26th Marine Expeditionary are doing.
They’re called Scout Snipers.
Their job is to provide support from the sky to help shut out piracy in the Gulf of Aden.
Several Marines of the nine member sniper team went through vigorous training at Scout Sniper in school right here in North Carolina.
