Haven't picked an MOS yet? Love dogs?

I learned about an MOS where you are partnered up with a dog that you will train. Thought other Poolee's that love dogs might be interested in learning about it.

Job Description: A military working dog handler is a military policeman who is additionally trained to properly employ a military working dog to conduct vehicle searches, searches of open areas, buildings, vehicles, etc., for the detection of explosives or illegal drugs and who also has the ability to search for lost or wanted persons.
Job Requirements:
(1) Must currently hold MOS 5811 (http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/marineenjobs/bl5811.htm).
(2) Possess no fear of dogs.
(3) Must be a volunteer. (4) Complete the Military Working Dog Basic Handler Course and the Detector Dog Handler Course, Lackland Air Force Base.

Yes, however, you can't "pick" this job. You have to pick 58xx, but be an MP as it's shown. There was a Marine on this site who was selected to become a dog handler and he posted about it for us. Dig it up and you'll see what he said about the selection process.
