Cross posting here, hoping a few Korean War vets may be able to help out.

Christopher George, actor, former Marine, looking for details on his service
<HR style="COLOR: #b5b1b1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #b5b1b1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Good evening
I am doing some biographical research on deceased actor Christopher George (starred in Rat Patrol) who served in the Marines for four years during the Korean War. (info on him can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_George (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_George), which I am working on growing/maintaining) References I have found (print and internet) indicate that he was a combat vet, was a flying Leatherneck, served a four year enlistment, earned his high school diploma while in the Corps (he enlisted after dropping out of high school), and may have joined at the same time as his brother Nick.
Looking for any and all info on his service- where, when, what, etc.

Also looking for anyone who met him during his USO tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in the fall of 1967.

Finally, his find a grave biography inidcates that he received a full military funeral at the Greek Orthodox church he attended in Los Angeles in 1983. Looking for anyone with knowledge of this event. Were Marines present?

I will check this website once a week or so, so please be patient with me responding. Thanks all for your assistance and support.
