Driver's Liscense

I did do a search on this and I could not find anything so I have decided to ask you guys. I heard from one of my friends who has a cousin in Army, that you have to have your driver's liscense to enter any branch of the service, and if you get it when or after your 18 they make you wait six months before you can enlist. Is this true or does this not apply to the Marines or what. I would appreciate a reply.

It's not true. You do not need to have a civilian drivers license to enlist.

went in at 17 no license didn't get it till I was 21 but that was in the 70's
