MECEP Question?

I'm curious, if a Marine is accepted to the MECEP program and is attending college, is he guaranteed a chance for commission in the Marine Corps? Or does he have to compete for it as in the Naval Academy?

MECEP is guaranteed. Naval Academy is not.
