Wait till October?

I am going to talk to a new recruiter and get the process started again this month (waiting to finish another commitment before I talk to one), if I have the option should I get in the Delayed Entry this summer for a ship date next spring, or would it be better to wait till October to get into the Delayed Entry Program. Correct me if I am wrong but October is the beginning of the Marine Corps fiscal year and more jobs are open? Thats why I ask. Thanks.

Id say wait however long it takes for the job you want to open, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year dosent really matter if you get impatient and just sign up I GUARENTEE you will end up regreting it.
