Alright,
First Ive tried multiple searches for these questions but they only really apply to my situation
I was DEP'd in to the Navy a few months back, got an 81 asvab and realized I dont want to be a seamen, I want to be a Marine
Im going up to meps next week to pick my MOS, I want to go infantry, probably riflemen, looking for some adrenaline pumps, my recruiter keeps recommending Recon and it something in the back in my head but I dont want to go to Indoc right out of SOI and fail or not get selected due to being inexperienced
What another recruiter keeps telling me to do is be a cook for a year, so I can eat right and work out most of the day but I would think Riflemen MOS would prepare me more for the Recon indoc?
Any suggestions, I kinda want to figure this all out before I head up to Meps again
