So I am hopefully about a week or two away from signing into the DEP of the United States Marines and I just realized something. I am 6 ft 4 inches tall, almost 6'5''.. I have heard 6'6'' is the tallest you can be? Would it be possible to get a waiver for my height if I grow? Also, say when I sign my contract in a week I am 6'4'' but when I ship or something I am 6'6'' what happens? What are the chances I could get a waiver for it?
I realize these are some weird questions that dont surface much, but I am stressing about it (maybe its a bit overboard).
Anyways, thanks for what responses I get.
Damn, I wonder what the Cpl I work with, who is 6'7" did to enlist.

haha you probably won't need a waiver and I'm sure it won't be a big deal to get one...I'd be more concerned with the fact that your DI's are gonna mess with you cause you stand out so much....no offense, just the truth. As my Series Gunnery Sgt. would say: You stick out like a nine inch cock on a goldfish.

Back in 79 there was a Marine in Quantico who was a CPL that was almost 6'10 and close to 300 #'s. They made a special rack for him and his uniforms and boots were shipped from Albany,GA.. He told me...
