Hi How you doing. when my friend graduated bootcamp he came out as a pfc and I was wondering what do you have to do to come out as a pfc? Thanks

There's a couple ways (that I know of) :
Eagle Scouts
High School JROTC
Prior Service
You can also get it meritoriously out of boot camp if you are an excellent recruit.

two referrals in the DEP
platoon honor grad
over 15 credit hours of college
top 10% in your series

Worry about earning the title first! There is nothing shameful about leaving the depot as a Pvt! Unless you went there as a hat!

Yea i wondered how my friend did it then cause he had no rotc at his high school but i do know he had good grades he dident go to college either.

How about having a hat, 3 stripes and a rocker and leaving as a Pvt with a dishonerable discharge. I saw that one.
good for you jackson07. the credit hours for promotion I believe are a bit higher than 15.. unless they dropped thier standards...

Check it out Gumby, I just did a search for "promotion boot camp" and I bet there's at least a dozen threads related to your question that magically appeared. Hell, if you're feeling really motivated, you can read the hundreds of posts about getting Lance Corporal out of boot.

I picked it up with 15, Sgt. I believe the minimum is 12.
