Combat Engineer

I have done some research on here, but I have a few unanswered questions. How much combat does one face and also what do the Marines do with mines?

Combat depends on who you are with and where you are...there's no telling. As far as mines go you can either disarm them or you just "blow and go." (meaning you blow it in place and move on)

I prefer the recon by fire method. No telling pup, try and seek out an engineer on the site!
