I am Looking for any Marine that may know my Grandfather, Lawrence Dorband. I don’t know much about him, other than he served in the United States Marine Corps. He has two sons, Pat & Chris, and was married to a Joanne. They lived in Chicago, Illinois & the surrounding suburbs.
I’m not sure what I’m looking for other than a little more information on a man I wish I had the pleasure of knowing. My grandfather died, a few months before I was born-but I always heard stories of what a great guy he was from my father. I just want to find someone that KNEW him.
I know it’s not a lot to go on, but if you think you may know him…please contact me. Or even if anyone knows of a way I can try to find more information on him...
