Marine FAST Co. Question

I recently found out that you can actually enlist under a SF contract and be guaranteed (correct me if I'm wrong) 1.5 years of SF duty, followed by 3.5 years of fleet infantry duty. Is there a separate contract that can guarantee a shot at the FAST Co., or is FAST just one of the SF units a new Marine might be assigned to?

If I remember correctly, You can get FAST as part of your contract and then go to then go to the Fleet.

I don't think it was 3.5 yrs extra. I know it was about 2 -3 yrs in FAST and the rest of your contract is back in the Fleet.
