Anybody out there tell me anything on the background of a LTG Ethan Strait? He's reluctant to discuss his background and I was curious.

He was a very close friend of mine. Please tell me how you know him as he talked alot about his friends and am curious as to whether he spoke of you.

There are several General Officers that do not show up. That does not
necessarily mean there was a LtGen Strait either.

Are you sure you are not talking about Gen Masters?
Also, after spending a week researching there was only one Gen Strait (or and of the other General Officer ranks) and he was in the Air National Guard as a Major General. His name is Donald J Strait. I think, just maybe, firebrand uncovered another poser.

The Gen. Masters who had the lights installed on the golf course at the Supply Center in Barstow. I believe it was 1962/1963. When he left Gan. Nickerson took over and all Special Services money went toward the Base Stables, because he rode. All PX clothing became western wear.
