So when I graduate bootcamp and all other stuff I want to keep in contact with folks back home and would like to have my own laptop to do that, is it allowed when on base and stuff to have a laptop, during MOS training at all. Im going Security Forces... What is the chance of using it all? Also is there a rule on cell phone use or anything?
Of course you can use laptops after you're done training/working for the day. Hell, I spent a great deal of my down time in MOS school downloading and listening to music on my laptop. You can also use a cell phone as long as you're not walking with it while in uniform.

Yes, laptops are allowed at MOS school but only during liberty.
