Age 91 of Bethel Park, on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Husband of the late Anna R. (Jacobs) Bohonak; father of Linda (Emery) Ollis; grandfather of Jennifer (David) Barker and Christina (Kevin) Angelo; great grandfather of Alexander Barker; brother of John Bohonak and the late Michael Bohonak, the late Frank Bohonak, Mary Williams and Frances Johnson both of Indiana, IL, the late Anna Wytiaz and the late Katherine (Kay) Mallinger. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and their families. Nicholas was a veteran of World War II and Korea, served 20 years in the Marine Corps and retired as captain at the ordnance Marine Corps schools in Quantico, VA. He was a lifetime member of the South Hills Veterans Detachment #726 and served as a school crossing guard at Washington Elementary School for the Bethel Park Police. Mr. Nick was known to share his famous stories with all of those he loved and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With never having any illness or complications, this Marine kept marching on right up to the end. As he would say, "Not goodbye, just so long for now." Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends welcome at BEINHAUER- CONNELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 5120 West Library Ave., Bethel Park, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM in St. Valentine Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
