What's new at the Kingston Library
Kingston Daily Freeman

Here's a list of new book arrivals at the Kingston Library for the month of December:

"The Coldest Winter: America and the Korean War," by David Halberstam: A new history of the Korean War. At the heart of this work is a bloody battle fought in November 1950 in the snow-covered mountains of North Korea by American Marines and GIs against the Chinese Communist Army, in which General Douglas MacArthur is Halberstam's villain.

"New England White" by Stephen L. Carter: Carter returns to the New England university town of Elm Harbor, where a murder begins to expose the racial complications of the town's history, the secrets of a prominent family and hidden African-American political influence.

"Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Seven Proven Steps to Less Pain and More Energy" by Fred Friedberg, PhD.: The mainstream medical community has labeled Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as purely psychological. The sufferers of this disease and the physicians who treat them define both conditions as physical illnesses. Fred Friedberg stakes out a middle ground.

Also, there are tons of new additions to the children's library, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as "Ratatouille," "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," "All About Animal Behavior and Communication" and "All About Fossils" available on DVD.
