I could have got this wrong, but has anyone ever heard of a cam comm switch? How does it work, and its it one of those things that are hard to get done?

I must have got this completely wrong then. My new recruiter told me about it yesterday and I did not write it down. It was something about switching from Active to Reserve while in the DEP.

As long as you haven't shipped to boot camp yet (which you clearly have not) you can get any changes you need made. Just tell the recruiter what you want and then keep reminding him until it happens.
