I would like to ask for a prayer for my Recruiter. He wasn't wounded in battle but he did get hurt. He was drifting down a river on Labor Day weekend and fellout of the raft and smacked his head so bad he got 14 stitches into his skull.

14 stitches - bummer! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
Quick - get him ice cold beer to keep down the swelling, and assign him to TV duty for 48 hours!
Poolee - good instinct to take care of a Marine! You've begun a good habit.

*edit of OP* it was 14 staples not stictches.

Good news, I talked to the gunny and he said they've already taken SSgt Gilmore off his antibiotics and he should be back in action as soon as...today. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.
