I'm looking for info in Database systems, but I'm not having any luck because I don't know the MOS number.

If anyone knows the MOS number, or number range, I would be extremely grateful

Alright, I found it.

0656 Tactical Training Specialist.

Now I'm trying to find info on the job. Went to the extent of calling the CO's Secratary in 29 Palms, who connected me to someone else, who in turn connected me to another person, who in turn knew nothing...

Anyone here have this MOS that could tell me something about it or have a URL that links me DIRECTLY to information pertaining to this MOS?

I don't have E-mail access currently, but I would like to know exactly what you do.

I know you program things and the likes, as a non-marine found me information and PMed me it about what you learn at the MOS schools(both basic and NCO) I'm just curious as to what you work on and how classified it is.

My mom was once a computer person back when she was in the Navy, and she tells me that the information she was taught was so top nautch that when she went to class, she was instructed to keep the books there because of what they were being taught.

So, I basically want to know what the courses are like, are they that secretive or are they open for discussion with people as well as anything else you would feel a good idea to tell me about 0656

My MOS (0656) Does require a Secret Clearence. As far as the material that you learn at the school house. That is not you can share that with whoever you like. It is good information to know. All of the stuff on the "High Side" you will learn in the fleet. Also if you want to work with the secret and Top Secret material there is another MOS in the intel world. I will look into what there MOS is later and get you what information I can on that job. Also point you to them as a point of contact so that you can ask them all the questions that you would like.

Semper Fi,
Cpl Jones

What do you mean by Secret Clearence? Like I must swear I won't tell people and if I do its treason?

I've never exactly understood what it meant, because my mom wouldn't talk about it.
