I ship out 20080616, Im just wondering if there is any way to find my battalion, company, and/or platoon. Or is this decided upon arrival at MCRD? Im just curious.

Supposedly threre is a way to find out..the poolees here seem to know, I'm sure someone will chime in.

2008 Graduataion dates are not posted to this point. However you can check either the MCRDSD or MCRDPI sites and then go to Graduation Dates. When they do show up there.
However, that should be the last of your worries right now, just worry about getting yourself ready for the challenge. In the last few months it has changed for those of us leaving soon, so until the day I am put into one of these Battalions I am not horribly worried about it.

Yes they are exactly what I was talking about however, with it only being 2007 dates, he will be unable to find the Batallion/Company let alone Platoon he will be in leaving in nearly 1 year. I'm sure he can begin to find out in late October.
