This post is kind of random but I thought that I'd share it with you...The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps came to speak to us today out here in good old Okinawa and he share with us a story of when he was meeting the President. George W. Bush walked past all the high ranking officials of all the other branches and walked straight to the SgtMaj and said, "Hey how are you doing Sarg?" The SgtMaj's response was, "Sir, with all do respect, it's Sergeant Major!" Only in the Marine Corps.

That's good ****. I couldn't imagine any Marine handling that any differently, though.

LMFAO!!! Did he give the President's reply?
LOL, that is good stuff right there.
You just can't get the "Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps" job without a set of big brass. Everybody that doesn't love this guy, raise your hand! LOL

Totally appropriate!
I've always thought the ultimate ego trip would be to have the President of the United States call you on the telephone---and ask him to call back. Imagine what it would do to the switchboard operators in the White House!
