Beaufort F/A-18 squadrons set to deploy

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — Two Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C.-based F/A-18 Hornet squadrons will depart for the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group on Thursday.
Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 251 and Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 86 are joining Carrier Air Wing 1, according to an air station press release.
About 400 Marines and sailors are in the squadrons, which will deploy with the Norfolk, Va.-based carrier for about six months.
