Are those two Marines your friend's recruiters?

Achped
05-21-07, 11:18 AM
The dark green Marine is my current recruiter, the...yellow green? Marine is theirs.

However we all enlisted about 9 months ago with a female SSgt, but she's now the RSS NCOIC, so she's technically our "recruiter", but since she's "The boss" and is always busy, these are the guys that take care of our PT, pre-ships, etc.

Echo_Four_Bravo

We had graduation a week before finals. There were a handfull of people that walked and did not graduate. We had to go to the school a week or two after school let out to get it.

Really ours cost 80$ And if you owed for something, failed, or didn't have all your shots you didn't even get to walk weather you bought your cap and gown or not.

Edit: We got our diplomas right after graduation.

One thing I had a problem with is that we had people spend over 200 dollars in graduation fees and some of them didn't even graduate. They waisted 200 dollars and they didn't even get a refund. I was almost in the crowd, I found out the day before graduation that I passed my Economics final to walk (91, highest in the class.)

What kind of graduation fees? The only thing for graduation we had to pay for was the cap and gown and if you didn't want to take part the diploma was free. But our Senior dues were 380$ and that didn't include the Senior trip.

05-22-07, 09:04 PM
My God? 380$... For what... Now i did buy some graduation invitations, thank you notes, and a tshirt, blanket... few other things.. but only cost around 176$ for the hole thing... thats with the cap and gown

HurricaneRJ

We have to pay for the Senior Luncheon, Yearbook, Senior Day, Cap, Gown, Diploma cover, class video, and T-shirts etc.

The yearbook itself cost $80.00. It was susposse to be in all color, but when we got it, only the senior section was color. Talk about being fcuked with, we had one girl threw the book in the trash right in front of the Principal.

We only had to buy our cap and gown, and our senior class was so small that everyone was "encouraged" to show up for the ceremony and they made us show up on the last day of school to get our diplomas and report cards. I remember being in RJ's shoes, I thought I hadn't passed my math class and was sure I wasn't graduating, but boy was I happy when I got my diploma lol.

Didn't include those things either we had to buy them from Jostons. But the year book did come with it.

75$ for prom
80$ for cap and gown
55$ for year book and the rest for Senior week.

I thought I had failed Spanish.

Their where pictures with no names, and names for no pictures... The AAA step team picture was in the year book and instead of their names... it was the jazz band; i believe...

D***! Your school must have been hard-up for cash man. Ours was so poor that the senior class organized the trip themselves outside of school and went on a cruize in the Gulf of Mexico and went to Cancun (spelling?), but I didn't partake, I didn't even go to my senior prom which I don't really regret. But I don't understand the whole shots thing Chandlar. Shots for what?

Your medical shots.

I remember when I was 13, I had got bitten in the ass by a damn rattlesnake.

If I didn't get a refund, I would have gone beserk.

I have a twin brother and least they can get my name right, but for some damn reason they put my brothers pictures for both our names. It was the same picture side by side, and I don't even look him anymore.

Ohh, That would've made me hot under the collar BIG TIME. Ours came out a bit funky too. The covers were green and our school colors are black and gold. One of our rivals colors are green and white. But I'm glad that it wasn't orange and black which is our main rivals colors.

If you put it that way...
50$ a piece for Prom, which i paid 100$
80$ for yearbook, and its not even in color
40$ cap and gown if you wanted invitation, thank you notes, pictures... it all came separate
380$ for Class ring
35$ senior luncheon
25$ senior trip --- Hawaiians Falls? water park
10$ senior faculty softball game
10$ for Powder puff
I bought cap and gown, invitations, thank you notes, pictures.. all together so minus the 40$

and the total amount i have spent this year is Probably close to 850$ I'm adding extra stuff that i have done that didn't list.. Now we went to dinner before prom and i spent 75$ so it just keeps adding up... i paid for everything except for the class ring my mom paid for...

USMCJohnson
05-22-07, 09:51 PM
My class ring was 366$( speaking of it, it seems to have evaporated) I can't remember how much the invites and stuff were but along the lines of more than 280$ less than 320$ plus 380$ for pictures. Our senior trip was about 280$

25$ senior trip? I went to the wrong school.
