3rd Recon returns to Japan from Iraq

More than 200 leathernecks with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion returned to Camp Schwab, Japan, from a seven-month Iraq deployment on Tuesday.
The Marines conducted reconnaissance, security and civil affairs missions in support of Regimental Combat Teams 5 and 6 in Anbar province.
