Mike Battery Marines Returning Home

Mike battery marines are on their way back home to Chattanooga after seven months over in Iraq...
Now, preparations are underway for their welcome home party.
Twenty nine marines should roll into the mike battery base off Amnicola Highway between 2:00 and 4:00 Saturday afternoon.
Key volunteer Coordinator Rachael Jones hopes folks will line up along their route back to welcome them home, "we would love it if people would come and line up particularly along Highway 153 over to Amnicola Highway and the riverpark area, where our guys are going to be travelling along to get to mike battery. We are really hoping to show these guys that we appreciate what they've done for us and our country."
The mike battery lost member Cody Warren back in November. Jones says those returning need even more support than the 150 that served in the war before.
