Hey everyone, you might remember me. I left Dec 6th for Parris Island. I graduated today (INDOORS:mad: ) but hey whatever. 2nd BN Hotel Company PLT 2021. I tell you all what, receiving that Eagle, Globe & Anchor is the best feeling in the world and I cried like a little girl. All you poolees stay motivated because training day 70 WILL come! Just don't quit. 3 months ago I was sitting exactly where you're sitting now reading someone else's thread that just came back from the island, questioning myself if I could really make it and all that trash. But anyone can make it, you just gotta have heart.

Any questions?

Congrats, MARINE. Now, live up to the title you've earned. That, for some, can be more difficult than actually earning it.

Welcome to the Fraternal Brotherhood of the Highest Order.

Adam, im a poolee looking for a couple of straightforward answers. I was wondering how tough and rigorous is the running aspect of boot camp? I also wanted to know did you see any recruit in boot camp that was overweight going in and still overweight by graduation and got rolled back?

Boot camp is the hardest challenge you've ever encountered thus far, period.

As for overweights, yeah they're there at the beginning and those who fail the IST go to PCP, but those who pass it pick up with everybody else. We had 3 recruits lose over 30 pounds by graduation.

What you put in is what you're going to get out. You only get to go through boot camp once, so you might as well give 110% at ALL times.
