Hey everyone!!...i posted this just a little bit ago but i want to add some. I signed in july after what seemed like endless arguements with my dad. Finally i signed but was sent home at MEPS cuz i had braces. After a few weeks of confusion my dentist signed a paper and i swore in. Now its just 3 months and 26 days till i leave and im sooo excited....im on the highschool track team and i lift. My run time now is 10:15 with 88 cruches in 2 minutes and 14 pull ups. I wanted to know if anyone else here is leaving june 26 of 07 for san diego. If so give me a message

Keep working those pullups. Is that runtime for 1.5 miles?

I feel sorry for how long you DEP guys wait.
For me,

June 1, Girlfriend dumps me.
June 2, See Marine Recruiter
June 3, Mother signs consent form (I was 17)
June 18, Graduate high school
June 23, Standing on Yellow Footprints.

I didn't know what the Pit was, nor getting "bent." : )

Best choice I ever made in my young life.

You aint the only one I graduated High School on May 22, 2006 went to boot camp on May 22, 2006. And yes poolee going to boot during the summer sucks, black flags all the time. Get used to drinking a lot of water, because when you go up north they will make you drink 13 canteens a day.

But best thing is when you go to field week and they make you take a canteen shower at night in rocks it wont be too cold like it was in january..

You know what we used during field week, deffinately not canteens we had to use baby wipes to shower with. That was to wipe us down real quick and then done.
