hello. i'm 22, in good shape, prior military experience/training with one tour in afghanistan, and want to join the marines like nothing else.
big problem stopping me...i'm canadian.
i'm sure you guys get this time to time, but i can't find any info on it and believe me i've searched hard. i know i have to get into the states and get a green card first, but i have no idea how that works...i'm not a big paperwork guy, so it gets confusing quick. will me wanting to join the marines help me get a green card?
i know i need to talk to a recruiter, but i'm out of country for the next few months, so i can't unti then. i want to learn as much about this as possible before i go back, so anything you guys can tell me would be appreciated.
