I was wondering...I signed up for an infantry MOS(UH), and would like to know how much time ,if any ,do you get back home after S.O.I. It is not a worrie for me, i'm just curious...

A Marine gets 2.5 days a month of accrued leave. When you successfully complete recruit training you will get to go home on 10 days boot leave. At that point in time you will be in debt to the United States government for 2.5 days leave, so no you will not be going home again after completion of SOI.

Jake, the Marine Corps wants you to understand everything as well. That's why they will give you a Drill Instructor.
