Mark,
It looks as if you scanned your DI Pics from your Boot Camp Book? That is a great idea! When I get home tonight, I will do the same and place them on here for veiwing, as well.
So when did you retire? I retired in July 1996. I was the Admin Officer/Chief of MMOA (Officer Assignments). I was at HQMC from Jan 15, 1991 to my retirement date. I had my own room at Henderson Hall for 4.5 years, until I married in August 1995.
You live where I want to live, in and around the Camp Lejeune area. My two sons live in Richlands. I miss that place terribly. We get a beach house at Topsail every year. You are a Lucky Man!

Yep, I took a digital pix of those guys.

I had three tours at HQMC:

1974-77 - Clemency Information Point and also the Aviation Department
1981-84 - Readiness Branch, Operations Division, PP&O Department
1987-90 - Administrative Chief to the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps

I transferred to the FMCR on 31 Aug 1990.

We will have to toss a few when you get in this neck-o-the-woods!

Not sure if i have contacted any of you all before but here it goes anyway---i am looking for my father who would have been at MCRD around the time of all of you. I do not know his platoon number which has been hanging me up quite a bit. His name is Marty Collins and would have been a PVT. around this time 68-70. I have been searching for quite awhile with no luck. sent off for records almost a year ago and still have heard nothing. Any help would be apprciated. Thanks
