Like to locate Marines who were stationed in this paradise in the early 80's.
And who may have done WEST PAC's in 79 or 80 on board the USS Mount Vernon or the USS Racine

I was stationed at K-bay during the times listed. I was with Alpha Co. BLT 1/3I was on 3 WEST PAC's. from 79 to 82. I was on board the USS Tripoli (LPH), and The USS Deluth (LPD) for my 1st West Pac / On the USS Tarawa (LHA) for my 2nd / and the USS Fresno (LST) for my last. :flag:

hello i was with MSSG-37 on both USS Mount Vernon and the USS Racine LST 1191. i was in the communications PLT. drop me a line looking for a cruise book also.
