Im new to the site and i was wondering if there would be a way to get my ist better than it is. I've been running religously, but my mile an a half is still at 9 minutes. My recruiter requeseted that i get it down to about 7:30 or 8. Please drop some hints.

Try running farther than a mile and half!

How about tie some bloody steaks to your Azz and have a pack of Pit Bulls chase you. Your time might improve a little more.

Or find a lumber yard somewhere - they usually have dogs in them - see if you can outrun it.

That is a 6 minute mile pace or 18minutes for 3 miles. Work on the three mile run at this point. You need more distance for the fleet anyways. Once you make 3 miles at 18 minutes start on the standard, three times a weak, Marine Corps 5 mile run.

Get some.

The guy has high standards, world class athletes run a mile in 4 minutes

I don't like this guy's sig, and I honestly can't believe a recruiter would demand that sort of performance. That's like a 600 pft, hehe.

i like the pic, but not the quote.
anything that mentions an individual sounds more like the army.
