Pvt. Ronald Woody of the U.S. Marine Corps boarded a bus Tuesday evening with 25 of his fellow Marines who had signed up to attend a taping of "The Price is Right," a popular television game show.

"Ron went to the pre-interview and thought he hadn't done very well," Woody's mother, Lynn Kinder, said. "He was really surprised when they started the show and told him to 'come on down,' " she said, making reference to a saying that is used in the program.

Kinder said her son called after the taping and was excited. "He guessed the closest on a pair of cell phones that were worth $600," she said. "He was called up on stage to play the 'Cover-Up' game and he won!" She said he won a 2003 Saturn L-200. "It's coming here," she said.
