Iwo Jima 26,000 casualties. Operation Galvanic- Betio Island 3,286. 41 just in 1/1 at Khe Sanh, many more in other regiments.

This is not an attempt to desensitize the 1,400+ Brothers an Sisters we have recently lost.

Iraq is a big job. And our training and the bravery of our fighting forces have done outstandingly well. They have all earned our respect, admiration, and grief.

Great post yellowing, sometimes we all tend to get fixed on whats going on today and we all need to remember those who fell before too. They have all given the last full measure of devotion to the Corps and Country and have all become a part of the Corps and will live on forever, as long as we the living practice this.

Rest In Peace Brothers
Jim
