Iranian students seized the U.S. Embassy in Teheran 25 years ago today, starting a 444-day hostage crisis that awakened America to an era of Islamic terrorism.
Iran saw the weakness in president Carter, who reminds me much of Kerry.
But when Reagan was elected, they knew he would not hesitate to set things right.
The 52 hostages were released Jan. 20, 1981, the same day that Ronald Reagan was inaugurated.
