in retrospect and fervent hindside thanks very much to the 7th marines for the liberation of a small island in the pacific by the name Samoa you Guys rock to the bone semper fiedelis 4 ever wish i could have made the few the proud 40 odd years late devil dogs for ever!!

I wasn't in the 7th Marines in WWII, when Samoa was liberated, but I did serve with them in Vietnam.
Thanks for the worthy praise of my regimental forerunners. They were the Old Corps. Glad they came through for your home island, and freed it from the Japanese occupiers. I too, honor them for their courage and tenacity. They left big boots to fill, thats a fact.
