Hey I know alot of you other poolees are wondering alot about what exactly goes on in recruit training so I found this schedule straight from Parris Island, very explanitory. Some of you may have seen this however.

Man... March 15th is almost here!
I was origianlly going to leave April 5th, but I'm not doing anything now, and I found out that there was an oppening for me at MCRDSD, so I put in a request to have my ship date moved up last Wednesday... but hadn't heard anything until today. I called up the Gunnery Sergeant, and he told me that he would have a date for me tomorrow, and that it would probobly be the 15th, and my recruiter told me that he couldn't say anyting offically, but unofficailly get ready to leave on the 15th because chances are thats when I'll leave. I'm still not 100% sure that i'll be leaving then, but I have a feeling that I will.
I'm super excieted!!!!

before today I hadnt wanted to tell anyone that I had put in that request becasue I didnt want to say "I might leave..." and then not leave until April. but now I feel good about it, and want to tell everyone! I can barely hold it in till tomorrow!
and so I post about it on LeatherNeck lol
