sounds like someone is afraid that this General might be going someplace that they fear to follow.... or maybe it's just that he has failed to sign off on all of the racist political BS that is being shoveled onto the military these days....

I don't like Leaders that are Puppets and do what they are told, even if it means saying or doing something that they don't believe in. You can't trust azz kissers...

I think this is probable. It's too bad he may end up being the sacrificial lamb/scapegoat for the "New Corps" to show everyone how "woke" they are.
