good day Marines, have a question, what day does one get to leave if their spouse is due? would it be the day before or the day of the scheduled due date

You get 10 days PTAD after the birth of the child.

You need to talk to your command......a little over 13 years ago our granddaughter was born and my SIL's command gave him off a day or two before and a couple weeks after.

Had something to do with the Family Leave Act.........however if you are essential personnel or getting ready for deployment things maybe different.

You will be a lucky Marine if you are there for the birth...many Marines don't meet the child for months to a year......or miss allot of the growing years.See your command Monday. Good luck!!
