went to MEPS 2 days ago, signed my contracts and was given a list of MOS fields. was asked to put down what 3 MOS fields i wanted the most that were available to me.
1.) 03xx
2.) 13xx
3.) 63xx
what are my realistic chances of getting my first choice (03xx)?

From what I know right now, there are no slots in Infantry at the moment.
I see you're shipping on Aug. 24 (same day as me brother), so unless there's someone who drops 03XX, I think you'll be stuck with either 13XX or 63XX. You could ask your recruiter to push your ship date to October, because when the new fiscal year comes about, 03XX contracts should open up.

Yeah you will most likely not be able to get 03XX it seems to always be full. I wanted it too but wasn't able to get it. I got 06XX (communications). Either way we should just be happy to get into the DEP and get the chance to earn the title. But best of luck with whatever you get. I've got a couple buddies leaving the same day as you.
