I'll start off by saying that I scored a 77 on my ASVAB, and over 115 on all of my "Line" (I think that's what my recruiter called them) scores. I'm currently going to boot in September, and my MOS is going to be an Aviation Electronics Engineer. I was wondering if any of you had any information, or tips on becoming a Martial Arts Instructor. All that I know is that I have to be a PT stud, and get a green belt.

Any information is helpful!

You'll need to be a Green Belt, an NCO(Cpl or above), a PT stud, PME complete, and be recommended by your command to go to the course.

This at least 2-3 years into your Marine Corps career, worry about graduating boot camp, MCT, your MOS school and being a good Marine in the fleet first.

I am a MCMAP instructor and to be honest it's not all that fun
