Hi I'm here posting because I'm getting discharged in a few weeks. I'm currently in MOS school & I'm supposed to recieve a General (Under Honorable Conditions) Discharge. I just have some questions...

Thanks Rocky C. Alot of useful information there. Wouldn't it come down to the RE code though since its a General UHC discharge?

No because " It is what it is " and your RE Code on your DD-214 will be,

RE-4- Not recommended for reenlistment.

Keep your head up. Sometimes things happen in life that we have no control of.

You will always be a " United States Marine ".

Very true, & I will. I still see myself being successful in the future one way or another. That true also, I will uphold the standards & discipline a Marine should have.
