I have a tattoo on my right side that is above my hip and below my armpit that says "For the ones I love, I will sacrifice".

It is not visible at all unless my shirt is off.

Will this tattoo disqualify me or will I need a waiver?

The Marines here have no idea if a waiver will be approved or not. The best and most up-to-date and accurate info you are going to get is by talking with a recruiter.

We have recruiters on this forum.

Can't say without actually seeing it in person. Like Lisa 23 said, you must have a recruiter take a look at/measure it. They see tattoos every day and know which ones will fly and which ones won't (or may fly with a waiver). Just stop by the office and have one of them take a look at it for you. Good luck and let us know.
