Hello Marines and fellow Poolees. I selected Aviation Mechanic as my MOS Field so my job is not specific, however I would like to know a few things from Marines in the job field. What is the schooling like? What do you learn? Where are the air wing units stationed? What are the options for cross training(if any)? What are the promotion rates for the Aviation Mechanic field? I would like to gather as much knowledge about my job field prior to bootcamp. Hopefully I don't have to haze myself for these seemingly simple questions. Haha. Thank you all.

The Marine Corps is what you make of it....it can be the most fun and best time you'll ever have in your life or it can be an absolute nightmare.
