Hey my name is Jon Kiernan im from upstate new york (not that any of that matters)

But im in the DEP and am scheduled to ship on January 7th of 2013 as an 0600. I was wondering if anyone had some sort of idea of what the chances of me getting 0621 field radio operator are? Because im not very interseted in working with computers, and would like to be in the field.

The chances of you obtaining the MOS 0621 is on the need of the Marine Corps. Since wire is being phased out the chances of you getting it are a little bit higher. Still no guarantee though. You will find out what your MOS is by the time you get to third phase. I hope it works out for you and you get the chance to be an RO. Good luck
